... but he comes up in conversations often.

It is almost as if he is in the walls of the pavillion.

Actually, he is..., in a couple of ways. He features on the champ honours board on at least three occasions, and has been involved in many building tasks around the clubhouse, including reshaping the rear internal walls to create a match committee room, and a home for petanque a few years ago.

He is a long serving club member and a very competitive bowler on the green.

Ash passed away on Saturday August 28 2021.
