Northcote Bowling Club – Venue Hire

Northcote Bowling Club & Northcote Petanque provide an outstanding location for those who are interested in using the game of lawn bowls for team building, social clubs, birthdays, competititve events,  Corporate bowling and/or petanque events, Corporate meetings, or special events, such as Christmas functions. Our club is situated in Dudding Park, backing onto LeRoys Bush reserve and a stones throw from the beach at Little Shoal Bay.

Why Lawn Bowls? 

Lawn bowls is one of the only sports that is truly inclusive, easy to play and is great fun which makes the sport ideal for social activities, team building, Christmas parties and any other event.  We provide club bowls and experienced "club helpers" to ensure your event is a huge success.  

Facilities

The club offers excellent facilities just over the Northern side of the Harbour Bridge which include-.

• Up to 12 playing rinks on REAL grass greens and they are available more or less from spring through to autumn every year,  and an all weather Petanque court.
• We have a single level Clubhouse with full 180 degree visibility of our playing surfaces. A fully equipped kitchen is available & sits next to our lounge area. This includes a well stocked bar, which provides both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, water & bar snacks. A well used dance floor is also part of our package (if required).
• Sorry, our liquor licence does not allow BYO.
• We can accommodate seating for up to 180 people, but in social type stuations we find groups of up to 100 work best..
• There is a kitchen adjacent to the first floor meeting area. Groups can bring their own food or make arrangements using external caterers. In addition, barbecue facilities are available on request, the cost of which can be discussed in conjunction with the green and facility hire fees (all of which are VERY reasonable)..
• Ample Parking is available for your time at the venue.

If you require a venue for staff/client/Christmas functions or other corporate or community events then Northcote Bowling club is an ideal setting.
